Play Clan

Himanshu Dogra, the founder of Play Clan was quite impressive and had a very in-depth and well-researched knowledge about popular art culture. Having 8 stores across India and a group of designers to help run the store, Himanshu aims at celebrating life and culture in India.

A meeting with him and a few photographs later, we headed to Mrs. Iyer’s house as per our schedule. She spoke a lot about the differences and similarities between the high art and the Kitsch Art. Her interview was important since it showed to us the perspective of an art educator towards the truck art of India.
